Tango Fusion Dance
Company’s Spring Shows at
Saratoga Music Hall and Charles R. Wood Theater
Tango Fusion Dance Company will perform its spring show,
Nocturna, on Saturday May 3rd at 7:30pm and Sunday May 4th
at 3:00pm at the Saratoga Music Hall, 3rd Floor of City
Hall, 474 Broadway, Saratoga Springs NY. There will be
workshops on both days with a Milonga (tango party) on
Saturday night after the performance. The ticket price for
the Saturday show and Milonga is $25.00. Sunday's show is
$22.00. There are separate and combined prices for
attendance at workshops, shows and the Milonga. A weekend

Nocturna will also be performed at the Charles R. Wood
Theater at 207 Glen Street, Glens Falls NY on Friday, May
16th at 7:30pm. Show tickets cost $22.00. There is also a
beginning tango workshop from 6:00 to 7:00pm. The price is
$10.00 for adults and $7.00 for students. Tickets can be
purchased through the theater by calling (518) 798-9663.
Nocturna is an exciting combination of ballroom dances with
an emphasis on Tango. Latin dances such as Merengue, Salsa,
Samba and Rumba are all featured as well as an energetic
Swing to Elvis music. Argentine Tango is portrayed in its
pure classic form and is fused with jazz and a provocative
West Coast Swing. Tango guest artists from New York City,
Oliver Kolker and Silvina Valz, are showcased as well as
the piano styling of Alan Thomson. The show is designed to
be fun, sexy, surprising and suitable for an audience of
all ages. Nocturna is created and choreographed by Diane
Lachtrupp and Johnny Martinez.
The show’s producers are Diane Lachtrupp, Liesl Bailey and
Bob Englert. Kim Vanyo is the costume designer.
