Tango Fusion Dance Company offers workshops for students from elementary school through college. Workshops can range in scope from an afternoon of classes to a full week residency. Dance changes lives. Partner dance, in particular, can be enjoyed by everyone. It is social, brings together people from all walks of life and breaks down barriers. Students who think they can never dance are surprised by their developing skills, confidence, body awareness, friendships and joy!

Examples of Educational Workshops
“Hard Work” series at Lake Avenue Elementary, Saratoga Springs NY. Instructors teach partner dancing as well as emphasize hard work, respect and discipline. Students come away having had fun, exercise and a new respect for salsa, themselves and each other.
Four-day residency at the Lyndon Institute in Vermont (spring 2008). Tango Fusion Dance Company holds daily workshops in tango and salsa as well as company repertoire. A master class for the public is offered. Later, students perform in a show for the public.
In the last three years, the company members have also taught at Siena College, Adirondack Community College, the National Museum of Dance, the Dance Alliance’s Dance Plus, the Dance Flurry, Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio, The Saratoga Savoy, Lorraine Michael’s Studio, Dance Academy of Stowe, Dance Alliance’s Dancing Through Time series and NYISO.
